Content? I have it in spades!
So I had a plan. I was going to have a quick look through, pick out the best bits, rework them into a blog post or devotional that could be published here, and hey presto, that's at least a year's worth of content sorted, right?
Wrong. So very wrong.
(I bet God loves it when we make our own plans!).
When I sat down to write my first post, I bought up some old preaching notes on my screen and set about choosing the right one to turn into a blog post. But it wasn't working. Nothing was sticking. And the impact of past days was lost.
And then God said to me "Behold, I am doing a new thing."
You see, God's mercies are new every morning, His Word is fresh and new for each day. We don't have to rely on what He told us yesterday, because the Word is living and active, it's constantly speaking to us afresh, being exactly what we need for today. The wisdom of old (if that's what you can call my folders of notes!), isn't for today. And you guys deserve a lot better than my regurgitated preaching notes, right?
So here's to new beginnings, taking the long road and starting again!
